Research estimates that the number of mobile devices capable of Internet connections will exceed the number
of PCs connected to the Internet by 2003. The continuing reliance on the convenience of mobile terminals
will be complemented by a growing trust in them as secure personal transaction devices. This, together with
technological developments leading to new payment methods and greater security, will drive the growth of
wireless applications and mobile e-commerce.
We view wireless applications as extensions to Web applications that allow critical or select data to be
accessed via remote handheld devices such as cell phones and PDAs. We have expertise in developing wireless
applications using industry standard technologies such as WAP, WML and cHTML. WAP, which stands for Wireless
Application Protocol, provides a universal open standard for bringing Internet content and advanced value-added
services to mobile phones and other wireless devices.
We can re-purpose existing web content to be accessed over wireless devices and integrate existing systems
with the wireless web. We pay particular attention to User Interface Design and usability testing so that the
content displayed on wireless devices is easy to use, navigable and customized for multiple devices.
