This e-commerce site sells gourmet foods in specialty packaging. This scalable solution is built on
SQL Server 7 database and Active Server Pages back-end.
The site allows users to browse products by category and provides a secure environment for credit card
transactions. A sophisticated, highly-interactive shopping cart solution was developed to provide users
with an intuitive browsing experience. The shopping cart is always visible in a frame throughout the
shopping process. This frame provides current information on items in the cart, shipping, handling,
taxes and totals so that users know exactly what they will be paying. The shopping cart frame is dynamically
refreshed using JavaScript each time the user makes a change to his or her order. Users can place orders
through secure credit card transactions via AuthorizeNet payment processor, or offline via phone, fax or
mail. The site uses cookies and has personalization and one-click checkout features.
