Encore Software, Inc.
Encore Software, Inc., is one of the fastest-growing software publishers and one of the largest
privately held software firms in the industry. Encore's products are distributed by all major
software retail outlets and reach over 20,000 stores nationwide.
We designed a number of web based database applications for Encore using MS SQL Server and Active
Server Pages including a Customer/Technical Support Database Application. The web databases were
deployed with effective integration to their Intranet. The purpose of the Customer/Technical Support
database application was to facilitate and improve customer response time to technical problems. The
system contained a huge knowledge base that the customer and technical support representatives could
tap on instantly. The application provided the technical support personnel with various parameters to
first identify the technical problem in the database and then provide various possible solutions to the
problem. We also designed and developed a state-of-the-art Information Technology Strategy for them, which
involved developing a business technology plan from a high level. We developed strategies for company-wide
connectivity, databases and business applications.
