This highly-scalable site allows charitable organizations to manage the previously extensive,
paper-based giving process online using an ASP model. A workplace giving center system integrated
directly with corporations to further simplify this process. Other features provided by the site
included online donations to charities, detailed information on thousands of charities across the
US and a shop-for-charity feature.
The site was built on a BroadVision/Oracle platform and hosted on HP9000 enterprise servers for
high availability, scalability and robustness.
